Abstract:

The acoustic characteristics of the rooms where speech phonograms are broadcast or recorded, as well as the challenges we face in the design, acoustic layout and interior design of these rooms, have been studied many times so far. However, it is important to pay attention to the relatively new sphere of social application of multimedia technologies – that of podcasts and videocasts. These ways of multimedia communication, so far left out of the attention of the professional acoustic community, need a more extensive study from the point of view of some specifics of their technological base and acoustic requirements.
