Final Test – Field Recording

 

This is the second part – editing in Logic – after the 4 minute

 

and this is the beginning of the project – while you are still in premiere…

 

This is what we recorded on the field weeks ago.

Every folder has 2 subfolders – audio and video.

In the audio you have all the takes from the Tascam recorder.

In the video you have what we recorded  with our cellphones 🙂

Your job is:

 

  1. Go to Adobe Premiere;

  2. Create a project.

  3. Create a new sequence inside the project;

  4. import the video files. If it wants to change the sequence settings, change them;

  5. Create new bin into the project files window;

  6. Name it *audio* and import inside all audio files;

  7. Import the video files in the timeline;

  8. search for corresponding audio files and import them;

  9. synchronize them with the video files using the audio track from the video files.

  10. Now choose the right takes from the video and make editing of the video with the corresponding audio.

  11. When you are ready export the audio as OMF file structure.


END OF PHASE 1….

After this go in Logic

 

  1. Create a new project.

  2. Import the OMF file.

  3. import the video file

  4. Synchronize the audio from the video with the omf audio

  5. delete or mute the audio from the video

  6. Edit and mix the voices

  7. add additional atmosphere and music

  8. Mix and master

  9. Export the audio
